Dr. James J. Kani

Dr. Kani is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for his undergraduate degree in Biology. In addition, he received a Bachelor of Visual Science in 1993. He completed his externship with a family optometric practice, Four Corners Clinic in Chicago, specializing in routine pediatric eye care for children ages 4 and up and fitting patients who require specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Kani has been practicing in Colorado for ten years and has successfully completed pre and post operative training for LASIK procedures. He has also completed pre and post operative training for cataract patient care at Omni Eye Specialists. During his extensive training in both of these areas he has had the opportunity to care for thousands of patients. He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Kani lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his wife, Dr. Sundy Kani, and their 3 boys, Nima, Soren, and Mikka. He supports his community by participating in events like the 9 Health Fair and recently received a certificate of appreciation from the Colorado Optometric Association for his volunteer services. He enjoys racquetball, soccer, skiing, mountain biking and many other outdoor activities.
