Dr. Sundy Kani

Dr. Sundy attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received her undergraduate degree in Zoology in 1987. She continued her education in Chicago, completing her Bachelor of Visual Science in 1991 and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1994. For the last 10 years, she has practiced full scope optometry in Colorado, with an emphasis on contact lens care, treatment of eye infections, and pediatrics. She is also trained in the co-management of LASIK patients. She enjoys traveling and has had the opportunity to work as a volunteer optometrist on several Lion's Club missions including Honduras, Costa Rica and Thailand. (Those donated glasses do make a difference.) She is also fluent in both French and Spanish. Dr. Sundy lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her husband Dr. James Kani and their 3 boys, Nima, Soren, and Mikka. She is an avid photographer who enjoys the outdoors especially hiking, camping, and biking.
